Qualifications

• Master's degree in Blind Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Orientation and Mobility required.
• Two years of experience teaching orientation and mobility preferred.
• Knowledge of braille and sign language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in safe and efficient travel skills.
• Evaluate progress of students and submit scheduled written reports.
• Keep abreast of current O&M research and teaching methods.
• Suggest need for appropriate material and equipment.
• Provide in-service training for staff members on orientation and mobility.
