Full-Time Order Selector - NO WEEKENDS (Finance)

In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This includes strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed correctly. You will operate motorized equipment such as Electric Pallet Jacks, ensuring safety and accuracy in moving products. At UNFI, we believe in teamwork, perseverance, and making a difference.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm (or until work completion)

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Select various grocery, perishable, frozen, or repack products from warehouse stock
• Report inventory adjustments, spoilage, damage, location changes, and stockouts
• Transport products throughout the warehouse using electric pallet jacks
• Maintain performance standards for speed, accuracy, safety, and minimal damage
• Assist other departments during peak times or absences

Job Requirements:

• Experience in large warehouse/distribution environments
• Experience with Walkie-Riders or reach lifts
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely and work efficiently with high accuracy
• Ability to work in temperatures from -10 to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit
• Willingness to work in grocery, cooler, and optionally freezer sections
• Good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediately available

Physical Environment/Demands:

• Lift up to 75 pounds; stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist frequently
• Work in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 90°F
• Perform repetitive movements with arms, wrists, and hands
• Work overhead and in confined spaces
• Operate related equipment safely
• Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
