Optometrist

Medically focused private practice in the Poughkeepsie area looking for an Optometrist

Great opportunity for a medically focused Optometrist in the Hudson Valley. This private practice has built a thriving practice by providing excellent patient care and they are looking for a caring Optometrist to provide medical exams.

The practice is fully equipped for comprehensive care.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM; no weekends or evening shifts.
Growing patient base with a focus on glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic care, post‑op follow‑ups, and more.
The Optometrist would see an average of 24-30 patients per day with support from a technician and scribe.
The role involves a mix of comprehensive exams, medical eye care, and quick check-ups.
Note: The practice does not have an optical department.
Patients range from pediatric to geriatric.
Offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$175,000 and benefits package.
