DSE Hockey Centers, LP is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform ice and court space maintenance for StarCenter venues and events in the Dallas area. The role supports public and private events and requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities include ice prep, mechanical monitoring, daily checklists, basic electrical/HVAC/plumbing tasks, and general building repairs to ensure safe, clean facilities for guests and staff.
Description
Perform maintenance tasks and services for the StarCenter, providing clients with a safe and clean venue for events. Performs ice and court sports maintenance to ensure quality ice and court space for the general public, public and private events, and the Dallas Stars. This position is not eligible for remote work.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle large objects, tools, carts, and drive machinery. Reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear for up to 8-14 hours a day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function and may also be exposed to adverse conditions, including inclement weather, noise, fumes, etc.
