Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, employees, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, in good condition and organized.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following company policies.
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities according to cash handling guidelines.
• Maintain attractive store fixtures and displays, including seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and promotional displays.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain the checkout area and ensure restocking of coolers and displays.
