Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a school setting near Loves Park, IL. This onsite contract role welcomes both experienced SLPs and CF-SLPs, with full-time hours (37.5 per week) and a collaborative team environment.

Candidates should hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an active IL license, with PEL SLP endorsement; SLP-CCC is preferred. We offer competitive weekly pay and robust benefits in a supportive district setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) required.
• ISBE PEL with Speech-Language endorsement required.
• SLP-CCC certification preferred.
• New grads CF-SLPs encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement tailored IEP goals and intervention strategies.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services onsite for K-12 students.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver effective support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
