Job summary

Fidelity Partners is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to support dental services at FCC Hazelton in Bruceton Mills, WV. The role involves chairside assistance, radiography, infection control, and patient support for inmate populations in a secure environment.

The position requires a minimum six months of relevant experience or an ADA CODA-accredited program, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain DOJ/BOP clearances. Work is on-site with standard hours, and travel is not anticipated.

Qualifications

• Six months of dental-assisting experience or completion of a one-year ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current CPR certification per AHA or ARC.
• Resume and copies of diplomas/certificates required.
• Ability to obtain DOJ/BOP security, suitability, background, and health clearances.
• Must be free of communicable diseases and provide TB/health testing as required.
• Must perform physical tasks including walking, bending, standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service chairside, clinical, radiographic, infection-control, and administrative support.
• Prepare treatment areas, instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures.
• Pass instruments, maintain a clear field, and retract tissue during procedures.
• Take and process radiographs with proper safety procedures.
• Maintain infection-control standards and manage instrument sterilization.
• Document electronic health records and assist with audits and clerical work.
• Comply with privacy, security, and institutional policies across shifts.
