Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Full Time Security Officer at the Toyota Motors North America PDC site in Kansas City, MO. Shift: 3rd Shift (Mon–Thu 9:00pm–5:00am; Fri–Sun off). Pay: $19.00 per hour.

Duties include gatehouse access control, front desk customer service, CCTV monitoring, and package distribution. This is a professional, high-accountability role with room to grow. Perfect attendance bonus of $100 quarterly is available for those who show up consistently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain a valid State security license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.
