Mercy Fort Smith is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our patient-focused care team. This full-time role provides therapeutic programs to help patients regain independence, using evidence-based practices and a compassionate approach in a busy hospital setting.

Applicants must have a graduate OT from an accredited program, a current OT license or eligibility in the hiring state, and a valid BLS certificate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current occupational therapy license or eligibility in the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed OT programs.
• Promote growth and development by supporting department projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
