Job summary

The Lodge at Red Rocks in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative therapy to seniors in a skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans, document progress, and coordinate with families and care teams to improve function and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Active state license required.
• 2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive/ADL deficits and develop plans of care.
• Provide rehabilitative therapy per standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document treatment plans and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate discharge planning and family/caregiver communication.
• Supervise PT assistants and rehabilitation aides as needed.
• Participate in care conferences and training sessions.
