Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, you will help treat patients according to individualized plans of care and participate in developing and implementing therapy programs.

You will assist in all phases of OT treatment, discuss progress with patients, and maintain charts documenting responses to treatments.

Qualifications

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
