Grand Canyon University is seeking a Full Time Nursing Faculty for OB Lab/Clinical in Orlando, FL. The role supports direct and indirect clinical instruction, student evaluation, and integration of current teaching methodologies in the OB/Women’s Health area.

The position requires a Master’s in Nursing (MSN), an active FL RN license (or compact state), and at least 2 years in OB/GYN nursing. Teaching at the college level is preferred, with travel to clinical sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in FL or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health nursing.
• Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces didactic content and teaches in clinical and lab settings.
• Collaborates with content area faculty for evaluation and documentation of student progress.
• Participates in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
• Maintains communication with program faculty and director, including attendance at faculty meetings.
• Keeps current with trends and developments in nursing practice.
• Maintains compliance with program accreditation requirements.
