Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is looking for a Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the Burlington, MA unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with vital signs, meals, ADLs, and basic procedures while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior healthcare experience is not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• No previous clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs as delegated by the nurse.
• Assist with intake and output measurements and specimen collection.
• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
• Assist with meal ordering, tray setup, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices on the unit.
• Support patient safety as a sitter when assigned.
• Assist in orientation of new Nursing Assistant colleagues.
• Support unit-based activities and participate in quality initiatives.
