Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for instrument sets.
• Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets.
• Operates sterilization equipment and selects correct method per instructions.
• Verifies sterilization parameters on charts before releasing items for clinical use, and maintains records.
