Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Unloader in Windsor Locks, CT. This full-time 2nd shift role keeps the distribution center stocked and moving, with a 6:00 pm–2:30 am schedule and $25.00 per hour plus incentive pay.

You will work with forklifts and pallet jacks, receive product, and follow safety procedures to support our communities and customers. Paid training, benefits from day one, and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Team-oriented with a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support community initiatives.
• Ability to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record dates, and break down pallets per receiving procedures.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Maneuver pallets from dock to correct aisles and assist in fast-paced operations.
• Maintain pace to prevent backlog of trucks and product.
• Inspect equipment and complete required forms.
• Safely lift varying case weights as needed.
