Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. First Shift; schedule TBD; earn $25.00 per hour with shift differential and incentive pay after training.

You will operate a forklift, track inventory with handheld devices, stack and rotate merchandise, replenish pick slots, stage finished goods, and load/unload trailers. We offer paid training, weekly pay, benefits from day one, PTO/holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, career

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.

• Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer and other necessary technology.
• Stack and rotate merchandise, either by hand or using equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures for forklift operation.
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels.
