Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift (12 hours, 7p–7a). The role oversees resident care, coordinates with the Wellness Director, and supports staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.

The LPN will supervise medication administration and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring safety and comfort. A strong team focus and compliance with state licensure requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license as required by state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments.
• CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Must complete state required training to maintain licensure.
• Able to work flexible work hours including nights.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the medication program and residents' self-administration.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director/Wellness Director.
• Assist in the completion of resident assessments and services plans.
• Assist in the training of assisted living staff and participates in orientation of new staff.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Caregivers as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
