Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Baker City is seeking a full-time CNA to join our 12-hour night shift in the Med Surg Unit. You will assist patients with daily activities, monitor vitals, and provide compassionate care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant Level I in Oregon.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating and elimination.
• Assist with transfers from bed to chair and turning in bed to prevent bed sores; support activities of daily living.
• Take patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate and temperature under supervision of a licensed RN.
