Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is hiring a Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician to assist in patient care under RN supervision. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and support daily patient needs in a fast-paced unit.

The role includes vital signs, basic clinical tasks such as venipuncture and ECG, and may involve clerical duties. Must have a Nurse Aide certification and BLS; nights schedule posted, full-time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with NC Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in condition.
• Instructs patients and families on safety measures.
• Performs basic clerical tasks and data entry.
• Maintains stock in inventory.
