Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician for part-time night shifts in Matthews, NC. The role supports patient care under RN supervision, maintains patient environments, and ensures safety and compliance. Requires HS diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I/II registry listing, and BLS.

You will work 24 hours per week, two 12-hour night shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements. The pay range is $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the Nurse Aide Registry or NC Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide I/II.
• Basic life support (BLS) required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Take vital signs and record measurements such as height and weight.
• Assist with feeding and ambulation according to procedures.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and safety practices.
• Observe changes in patient conditions and report to RN.
