Job summary

Acacia Health Center is seeking a Night Nurse (LPN or RN) for full-time night shifts in a skilled nursing setting. Pay ranges from $30 to $42 per hour based on license and tenure, with 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and a rotating schedule.

You will provide direct patient care and ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, and timely charting while supporting residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Arizona.
• CPR certification with BLS, First Aid and AED training.
• 6 months nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a hospitable attitude.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 125 pounds.
• Willingness to receive flu vaccine.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications.
• Administers treatments (dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.).
• Maintains accurate medication and care documentation.
• Completes skilled charting, change of condition, monthly charting and evaluations.
• Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
• Responds to resident emergency calls and updates physician/family.

Pay Rate: $30-$42 per hour (Depending on LPN/RN License and Tenure)

Your Role:

As a Night Nurse, you will provide direct care, assist residents, and are responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administers medications.
• Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
• Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
• Accurate and thorough completion of skilled charting, change of condition, monthly charting, evaluations, and all other regulatory documentation as assigned.
• Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
• Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
• Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.

Who You Are:

• Current RN or LPN license in Arizona
• Valid CPR certification with BLS, First Aid and training in AED procedures
• 6 months nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a hospitable attitude
• Physical fitness, capable of meeting the demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 125 pounds
• Patient and compassionate, especially when caring for individuals who are sick, injured, elderly, or from diverse backgrounds
• Comfortable receiving the flu vaccine
