Job Summary Details:

The Full-time Night Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Location:

OXY Battleground, La Porte, TX 77571

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Notify Manager about repairs or additions needed
• Maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, etc.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Empty trash
• Perform seasonal tasks like snow removal or yard work
• Clean and service restrooms

This role is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM is veteran-friendly, encouraging military personnel to apply. Military Occupational Specialty Codes include 92S, 92Y, LS, DC.
