The Springhill Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Mall of America is looking for a Full-Time, Overnight Front Desk Agent! This position is scheduled for Sunday through Wednesday.

Job Summary

The Night Auditor manages the overnight audit process and performs accounting functions such as daily revenue reporting, transaction audits, and preparing final statements for the next day's check-outs. They may also handle late-night reception duties.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of front office accounting records and summarize financial data
• Monitor room revenue, occupancy rates, and other operational statistics
• Prepare daily financial summaries including cash, checks, and credit card activities
• Post charges and taxes to guest accounts and process vouchers
• Transfer charges to master accounts and ensure charges are departmentalized correctly
• Support documentation and signatures for transactions
• Manage reservations and monitor promotional programs
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
• Summarize operational results for management review
• Balance daily charges and correct discrepancies
• Respond to guest needs and complaints
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of hotel front desk experience
• Knowledge of auditing, balancing, and closing accounts
• Proficiency with front office equipment
• Experience with cash handling and administrative tasks
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain standing or sitting for extended periods
