Job summary

Jovie in Moreland Hills, OH seeks a full‑time nanny/household manager to care for a newborn and support two young children. Daytime schedule Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to 9:30–5:30. You’ll work in a warm, collaborative home with Mom occasionally present and strong teamwork with parents.

The role combines dedicated infant care, toddler/preschool activities, light household duties, and meal prep. Experience with newborns is essential, reliability a must.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with newborns
• Experience caring for multiple young children
• Ability to work independently in a parent-present home
• Reliable and proactive communication with parents

Responsibilities

• Newborn Care (Primary Focus): provide attentive, developmentally informed care for a newborn and establish routines
• Support early development through tummy time, play, and language exposure
• Plan age-appropriate activities and community outings
• Follow safe sleep guidelines and current infant care practices
• Toddler & Preschool Support (Afternoons): provide calm guidance and redirection to support regulation and independence
• Engage children in outdoor play and age-appropriate activities
• Light meal prep and household tasks to maintain a smooth day-to-day routine
• Household Manager Duties: manage laundry, errands, kitchen cleanliness, and organization
