Innovative Care Solutions in Newark, OH is seeking a Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Specialist to provide safe, compassionate transportation for hospice patients. You will drive a medical transport vehicle, document services, and support the care team to ensure comfort and dignity throughout every journey.

The role emphasizes on-time logging, teamwork, and CQI participation, with a focus on patient-centered care and professional conduct in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PASS training or DRIVE training provided in orientation.
• Computer skills sufficient to document services and care.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle per laws and safety standards.
• Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate transportation to patients.
• Assist patients while prioritizing safety, comfort, and dignity.
• Complete transportation logs, documentation, and reports accurately and on time.
• Work with team members and assist across departments to support patient care.
• Participate in CQI activities to improve Ohio’s Hospice services.
• Support onboarding of new team members as a preceptor when requested.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and coworkers.
