Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-2 years of previous coaching experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and intercollegiate athletics.
• Demonstrated recruiting skills and knowledge.
• Knowledge of video editing and production.
• Commitment to supporting the academic success and overall well-being of student-athletes.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Collegiate men's volleyball playing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision and direction of all aspects of the team, under head coach.
• Participate in evaluating and recruiting student-athletes, including travel and visits.
• Develop student-athletes academically, athletically and personally.
• Assist in on-field coaching; plan and run training sessions.
• Scout opposing teams and analyze game film for teaching.
• Coordinate team travel planning, meals and logistics.
• Attend individual student-athlete meetings with head coach.
• Monitor academic progress and support team members' academics.
• Represent the program with professionalism, integrity.
• Foster compliance with NCAA, conference, and Merrimack policies.
• Participate in departmental activities and staff meetings.
• Represent Merrimack Athletics with integrity.
• Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by head coach.
