Maison D'Enfants NY in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, seeks a full-time live-out nanny for two young boys (toddler and infant) starting early 2027. You will provide nurturing care and engage the boys with age-appropriate activities and loving interaction.

The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some evenings as needed. The candidate should be warm, patient, and adaptable, with strong communication and a collaborative approach with mom at home.

Qualifications

Job description

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a warm and loving Williamsburg family with two young boys (toddler + infant), starting no later than early 2027. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with the boys in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. Mom is at home (currently nursing) and you will work alongside her, generally caring for one child at a time, so a candidate who communicates well, reads the room and adapts as each day changes will be a great match for this family.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be warm, patient and calm with big toddler feelings while holding consistent, gentle boundaries. The parents value a collaborative approach built on dialogue rather than direct discipline. Their toddler takes time to warm up to new caregivers, so consistency and a long-term commitment are important. The ideal candidate is experienced with infant and toddler milestones and plans balanced days, with developmental activities at home and in the backyard alongside park outings, classes and playdates. You will be responsible for everything for the boys, including simple meal prep and cleanup, kids' laundry, toy and closet rotations, classes, and preschool drop-off and pick-up (from September 2027).

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn (townhouse with a backyard, two parks within a 10-minute walk)

Start date: January/February 2027. The family is flexible for the right candidate and open to part-time hours during 2026 or a signing bonus to secure their preferred candidate ahead of a later start date.

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ideally 8am-4pm. Flexibility for occasional later evenings and bedtime with advance notice is a plus.

Travel: The family spends time in the Hamptons in the summer (1-2 weeks) and in Miami in the winter. Grandparents can assist with travel, however some flexibility is desired.

Children: Two boys: a toddler (b. Aug 2023) and an infant (b. Jun 2026)

Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* plus unlimited monthly OMNY card, healthcare stipend (if applicable), sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a nanny / childcare experience including recent experience with infants and toddlers
• A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and toddlers
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• Comfortable partnering with Mom at home and adapting to a changing daily rhythm
• Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, kids' laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
• Physically active and comfortable with stairs (four-story home)
• Comfortable in a dog-friendly home and not allergic to dogs (the family has a small, calm and friendly dog; no pet related duties as the dog is generally with Dad at work during the day!)
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions
