Job summary

Mondelēz International’s Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer in Lansing, MI, fulfills merchandising needs by stocking shelves, building displays, and coordinating with sales reps to maximize visibility of Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and other Mondelēz brands.

You will drive to multiple store locations, place orders via iPad, and follow Mondelēz merchandising steps to ensure in‑stock conditions and well represented brands.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive, professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations; mileage reimbursements.
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced environment; lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25–35 miles of Lansing, MI.
• Secondary locations: Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Dewitt, MI.
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; Start Time: 07:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and maintain displays.
• Represent Mondelēz in-store with customers and sales reps.
• Place orders via iPad to ensure shelves are in stock.
• Ensure Nabisco brands are well represented and compliant with guidelines.
• Follow merchandising plans and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain daily merchandising schedule for efficient store service.
• Support seasonal displays and new product launches.
• Present a positive and upbeat image of Mondelēz in stores.

Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

Join our team of Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands likeOreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among other delicious industry-leading snacks.

• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.

• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions.

• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.

• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.

• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.

• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.

• Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

What to expect:

Who is a good fit:

• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).

• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.

• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.

• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Lansing, MI.

• Secondary locations Grand Ledge, MI, St. Johns, MI, Dewitt, MI.

• Schedule availability required: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
