Job summary

Snowbasin Vehicle Maintenance is seeking a dynamic, full-time fleet mechanic to join our on-site team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment, with safety and service quality as top priorities, delivering a positive experience for guests and staff.

The role requires 3+ years of fleet/automotive maintenance experience, the ability to work year-round, and a current US driver’s license. Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years general fleet and/or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on modern vehicles.
• Experience with Ford vehicles preferred.
• Technical problem-solving skills; ability to analyze complex vehicle problems and recommend actions.
• Must have essential tools and toolbox.
• Current and valid US driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on light/heavy trucks, shuttles, buses, trailers, and other equipment.
• Diagnose gas/diesel engines, drive trains, electrical systems, brakes, steering and suspension.
• Complete paperwork and documentation for service and repairs.
• Provide optimal availability, up-time, and safety of fleet vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle status to managers and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and proper use of tools.
