Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners, LLC is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic for Brian Head Resort, UT. This full-time role focuses on diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of resort vehicles including snowcats and snowmobiles in a cold, outdoor environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mechanic experience, familiarity with diesel engines and hydraulics, and a valid driver's license. Safety, record-keeping, and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic; heavy equipment/off-road experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on resort vehicles (gasoline, diesel, small engines).
• Maintain snow grooming equipment (snowcats, snowmobiles) for winter operations.
• Inspect hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems and keep records.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns on and off the mountain as needed.
• Operate snowcats or heavy equipment for testing or maintenance (training provided).
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
