Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Able to use a tape measure, ruler and calipers.
• Able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to understand simple blueprints.
• Able to perform simple lay-out work.

Aufgaben

• Operate the electric band saw/Shear/Punch Press to prepare parts for machining or welding.
• Use metal cutting band saw to cut steel prior to machining.
• Clean and remove rust and debris from steel using an electric angle grinder.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Use material handling equipment to place steel into storage racks.
• Clean and maintain the saw and area around the saw.
• Program and operate NC ironworker.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Exhibit teamwork and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
