Job summary

G & G Beverage Distributors, Inc. is seeking full-time Merchandisers to support its Sales and Operations Teams in Wallingford, CT.

The role involves coordinating daily routes, handling invoices, and ensuring timely deliveries along with maintaining displays and point-of-sale materials. The ideal candidate has merchandising or sales/customer service experience, a valid Connecticut driver's license and insurance, forklift certification, and physical ability to lift up to 170 pounds.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising/stocking or sales and customer service experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid Connecticut driver's license and insurance.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Fork Lift Certified.
• Lifting up to 170 pounds and ability to work a varied full-time schedule.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily stops and invoices.
• Establish daily route and write up daily route sheet.
• Review invoices for time stops and COD accounts.
• Daily inspection of truck.
• Make priority deliveries as directed.
• May collect checks or cash.
• Fulfill daily work orders and maintain displays.
• Install point of sales and maintain promotional materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
