Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and thorough cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, offices and spaces using established protocols.
• Sanitize bathrooms, replenish supplies and maintain hygiene standards.
• Dust furniture and fixtures; vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
• Change bed linens and make beds to ensure comfort and cleanliness.
• Empty trash, follow infection-control procedures and report issues.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent germ spread.
• Inspect for maintenance or safety hazards and notify supervisors.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Follow facility safety, confidentiality and wage-management policies.
