Job summary

Suncoast-Skin-Solutions- in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, collect specimens, and manage patient records with care and professionalism.

The role requires high school diploma and preferably a medical assistant certification; EMR experience is advantageous. In-person work with benefits including health and vision insurance, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; AA degree or higher preferred.
• Medical assistant diploma and certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
• Assist with examinations and procedures, both invasive and non-invasive.
• Collect and process specimens; log specimens and perform diagnostic tests as applicable.
• Obtain patient history and vitals; maintain accurate medication records.
• Call or enter prescriptions per physician orders; assist with charting and documentation.
