Job Skills / Requirements

SUMMARY: Maintain the grounds fleet (mowers, UTV's, etc) at client site in the southwest region of the United States. Supervise and perform daily, specialty tasks such as scheduling repairs, maintenance, operations and performing PM's.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

The primary responsibility of the Mechanic is to direct daily maintenance related to the ground's equipment. Essential aspects of this position include:

• Plans, oversees and performs equipment maintenance operations.
• Supports grounds manager by monitoring budget for labor hours and material purchases.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

5 years of experience in performing grounds equipment maintenance

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees or the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to conduct detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

A valid state driver's license.
