NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) seeks a dedicated Full-time Faculty member in Mathematics at the Benton County Campus. The position emphasizes instructional excellence, curriculum development, program assessment, and collaboration with faculty and administrators to fulfill college policy and workload guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in mathematics required.
• MS in mathematics or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and evaluate student learning across assigned classes using standard outlines.
• Develop course curriculum, handouts, lectures, labs, and presentations.
• Schedule, supervise, debrief, and evaluate students in clinical, internship, or field experiences as appropriate.
• Be available to meet with students and communicate office hours clearly.
• Assign grades and maintain student records in FERPA-compliant systems.
• Teach courses by alternative delivery methods as needed; may teach at other facilities.
• Participate in faculty and college-wide meetings and committees as required.
• Support program assessment and contribute to textbook selection processes where appropriate.

Education

Master’s Degree or higher in mathematics

Master’s degree or higher in a related area with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics
