Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in mathematics.
• Master’s degree or higher in a related area and possessing a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics courses that could be applied to Master’s of Science degree in mathematics.
• Knowledge of the organization and administration of higher education academic and social programs; familiarity with FERPA and campus policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and facilitate student learning using course outlines as a guide.
• Develop course curriculum, handouts, lectures, labs and presentations; participate in program level learning assessment.
• Schedule, supervise, debrief and evaluate students in clinical/internship/field settings; maintain FERPA-compliant records and submit grades on time.
• Meet with students and be available for office hours; communicate contact hours clearly to students and supervisors.
• Teach courses by alternative delivery methods as needed; may teach at other facilities or during evenings/weekends.
• Attend department, divisional and college-wide meetings; participate in committees and college service activities.
