Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, education, or related STEM field required or higher.
• Master's degree preferred; open to entry-level with strong potential.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher is expected.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to reliable internet and a quiet workspace for learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Instruct small core groups of students in math core skills for long-term understanding and readiness for ACT/SAT.
• Track student progress through Vanguard's multi-phase curriculum with individualized growth opportunities.
• Respond promptly to students, maintain lesson schedules on the online platform, and ensure assignments are completed.
• Lead development and execution of evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students with empathy through the college application process.
