Job summary

Vanguard College Prep is seeking a Math Instructor to teach small groups, foster mastery of core topics, and support top ACT/SAT outcomes. The ideal candidate has math teaching experience, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit.

You will design engaging lesson plans, track student progress with Vanguard’s curriculum, and mentor students as they prepare for competitive college admission. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related STEM field from US schools.
• Teaching experience in math and/or tutoring at college level or community college.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suites.

Responsibilities

• Teach small core groups of students in math to drive long‑term mastery.
• Track student progress using Vanguard's multi-phase curriculum.
• Maintain lesson schedules and hold students accountable for assignments.
• Develop and execute evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students navigating college prep.
