Job summary

Dominguez High School, part of Compton Unified School District, is seeking a Marine Instructor to support the MCJROTC program. The MI will assist the SMI in instruction and help coordinate cadet activities that promote leadership and discipline.

This full-time, in-person position requires MCJROTC instructor certification, a high school diploma, and an Associate's degree within five years (Bachelor's preferred); some evenings and weekend activities may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate; must obtain an Associate's degree within five years (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Must be certified as a Marine Corps JROTC Instructor by the Marine Corps Training and Education Command.
• Must meet one of the Marine Corps service categories: I, II, III or IV.

Responsibilities

• Support MCJROTC program by providing classroom instruction and coordinating activities.
• Promote leadership, discipline, and academic achievement among cadets.
• Work full-time, in-person during the school day, with some evenings and weekend activities.
