Good News Global is seeking a Chaplain to provide comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to residents and staff at a correctional facility, guiding spiritual care and faith-based programming.

You will engage inmates, staff, public officials, and the local community to advance the Gospel, offering prayer, counseling, and conflict resolution within a secure environment. Strong pastoral experience and a calling to serve in corrections are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to residents and staff.
• Experience with faith-based programming in corrections is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to residents and staff.
• Support and coordinate faith-based programs and chapel services.
• Offer counseling, spiritual care, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Engage with inmates, staff, officials, and community partners to advance the ministry.

Job Description

The Chaplain is responsible for providing comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to the residents and staff of the correctional facility. The Chaplain also provides other services to inmates, staff, public officials, and the community that will enhance the overall ministry.
