Desimone Enterprises is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for full-time work in Kalamazoo, MI. Responsibilities include maintenance of rental homes and common areas, landscaping, and handling work orders to keep facilities tidy and functional.

Candidates should have manual dexterity, physical stamina, and reliability. Responsibilities include water meter fixes, equipment installation, and routine upkeep of mechanical systems and safety devices.

Formación

• Proficiency with hand and electrical tools is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Physical stamina and dexterity are required for daily tasks.
• Experience trimming trees is preferred.
• Experience driving a plow and salt truck is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform minor fixes to water meters including valve and gauge replacement.
• Use residential construction skills in common areas as needed.
• Install mechanical, appliances, and equipment.
• Maintain landscaping in common areas: mow lawns, trim trees, spray, edge.
• Replace light fixtures, receptacles, plumbing as part of tasks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Check safety systems (e.g., fire alarm) functionality.
• Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• Report issues to maintenance lead.
