Whirlwind Steel in Tallapoosa, GA is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced metal building manufacturing environment. You will monitor quality, document production logs, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, proven machining experience, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment control panels.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control machinery per SOPs and production schedules.
• Set up machines before production, including loading materials and calibration.
