Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) for recovery-focused care. You will administer medications as prescribed and provide direct care aligned with policies and standards. The schedule is full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday in California.

Starting wage ranges from $28.43 to $35.13 per hour, with geographic differentials. Compliance with post-offer health and background checks is required; a valid driver’s license and

• Graduation from an LVN/LPT program and current licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified on date of employment.
• Post-offer physical examination and background clearances may be required; driving eligibility and vehicle proof may be needed.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance; name as driver.
• Willingness to drive clients with weekly mileage reimbursement at IRS rates.
• Willingness to use company vehicle for client transport and meetings with mileage reimbursement.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.

Schedule:Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday

Compensation: Expected starting wage range is$28.43 - $35.13.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay iscommensuratewith relevant experience above theminimumrequirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure


• Current CPR/BLS certificate


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment


• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
