Job summary

AccentCare invites an LVN/LPN to join our team in Clinton, Mississippi. This full-time, on-site role provides direct patient care under RN supervision, focusing on pediatric to geriatric patients and travel between local locations as needed.

The LVN/LPN will document patient progress, administer prescribed medications, and maintain complete medical records. A current LPN/LVN license in MS and CPR certification are required, with a valid driver’s license for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of operation.
• One year of LVN/LPN work experience.
• CPR certification valid for clinical settings.
• Licensed driver with ability to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Document patient progress and nursing status changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess potential adverse drug reactions and report issues.
• Counsel and instruct patients and families on care needs.
• Prepare clinical notes and maintain medical records.
• Coordinate services with home health team.
