Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center in Placerville, CA is seeking a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse for the PM shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). The role involves delivering direct nursing care, supervising CNAs, and ensuring medication accuracy in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

Active California LVN license in good standing.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion.
Support and supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
Complete required charting and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
Maintain a clean, safe care environment.
