Job summary

British American Household Staffing is recruiting four housekeepers for a busy family spanning Woodside and Los Altos. Two staff will serve each property with a dedicated team ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Candidates should have prior high-end home experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part

Qualifications

• Must be legal to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Prior experience as a housekeeper in a high-end home.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate verbally and electronically.
• Reliable and trustworthy with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing various cleaning and household management tasks.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the home.
• General cleaning (indoors and outdoors).
• Household duties as needed.
• Cleaning & Maintenance.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms.
• Maintain the Home’s exterior overall appearance as well as all outdoor furniture and protective covers; clean exterior windows; wash patio areas, etc.
• Organize and declutter spaces to ensure a tidy and functional home environment.
• Laundry & Ironing - wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and linens.
• Manage laundry schedules and ensure proper care of clothing and household textiles.
• Assist with documenting outgoing and incoming Dry Cleaning.
• Assist with organizing and managing household supplies and equipment.
• Help with communicating any inventory needs.
