Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Billings, Montana, is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for a full-time role in our skilled care facility. The position involves assisting physical therapists, implementing treatment plans, and delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment.

Requirements include an associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting, valid state licensure or eligibility, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Treatment and Education: Monitor progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on protocols.
• Documentation: Accurately document treatments, progress, and responses per facility policies and standards.
• Collaboration: Work with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
