Job summary

Medicalodges is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect nursing care according to physician orders and the resident plan of care at our Neosho, MO facility. Medicalodges is a 100% employee-owned family of over 30 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities committed to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include resident reviews on admission, updates to the care plan, medication administration, responding to concerns, and supervising nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing in Missouri.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident reviews on admission, monitors health status, and documents findings.
• Updates the care plan with changes in resident status and communicates changes to staff.
• Administers and documents medication, treatment, and procedures per physician orders.
• Responds to and documents resident and family concerns and actions taken.
• Routinely performs rounds to ensure safety and planned care.
• Assists with activities of daily living and supervises direct care staff.
