Job summary

Phillips County Health Systems in Phillipsburg, KS is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our hospital nursing team as a full-time evening shift position with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. The LPN must hold a current Kansas license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire, be able to work both in a team and independently, and demonstrate strong communication and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current LPN license for the State of Kansas.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and safety standards.
• Deliver direct patient care to scheduled patients.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the physician or RN.
• Attend meetings and participate in nursing committees to maintain care quality.
